Spidergawd
For the first time in their existence, rock formation Spidergawd is coming to Doornroosje. The Norwegians find inspiration in the works of bands like Thin Lizzy, MC5, Kyuss and Black Sabbath. Add Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age to that list and you have a full picture of their core sound.
Their self-titled debut album came out early 2014; the most recent album, “Spidergawd VII” was released in 2023. Seven albums deep and the band still manages to surprise and excite All with a band sound that’s fully their own, not in the least because of front man Per Borten’s instantly recognizable voice. The band from Trondheim offers a melodious slice of hard rock straight from the seventies. And that works very well during live shows as well, as the mantra “blood, sweat and tears” is definitely applicable to Spidergawd. Live shows are intense, passionate and the epitome of rock & roll!
