The Brian Jonestown Massacre
The Brian Jonestown Massacre is an experimental American band led by Anton Newcombe. Since its inception in the early nineties, the band has seen a lot of line-up changes and numerous explorations into different sounds. Shoegaze, folk, blues and psychedelic rock are just a few of the genres the band has dabbled in, often simultaneously.
The productivity of the band is impressive. The Brian Jonestown Massacre has released 18 albums so far. On 24 June the band released their nineteenth album called “Fire Doesn’t Grow on Trees”. The band has turned into one of the most influential psychedelic bands of the past 30 years. They love to experiment and even though they’ve kept their status as a cult band the songs have always been catchy and original.
