Since their debut single ‘Zuckerberg Sucks’ came out, this six-piece band has been working on their repertoire of original, alternative rock and post-punk/new wave songs. In 2025, this Nijmegen-based band released three singles, all of which made waves in the IndieXL charts.
You can hear the enthusiasm and social involvement in the lyrics. The music carries elements of the eighties and nineties, which makes sense as that’s where the roots lie of The Conceptuals.
They have played a number of stages in the Netherlands in the past year and now they are making their debut in Merleyn. Make sure to be there as they are going to play new, unpublished gems for the very first time on a live stage!
