Thee Sinseers & The Altons
For over five years, Thee Sinseers have been an authentic r&b and soul band. Band leader Joey Quinones is a lad from East Los Angeles, so you don’t have to tell him anything about the history of soul music in the past 5- to 60 years.
Calling Thee Sinseers “just another oldies cover band” would be a grave injustice. Quinones and his band manage to channel vintage vibes to a tee; they know how to recreate the timeless nature of the genre. This is highly recommended to fans of Thee Scared Souls, Durand Jones & The Indications, Lee Fields, Thee Midniters, The Altons, Trish Toledo, Sunny & The Sunliners, Jamaican dance hall music, Chicano soul and early Beatles. Their international debut album “Sinserly Yours” came out in 2024 through quality label Colemine Records.
The Altons is a side-project of some members of Thee Sinseers. They aren’t just the support act of tonight, but it is going to be a continuous show of both bands. Be on time for a night of top-level soul music!
