Windhand

With deeply layered guitar parts and the mesmerizing vocals of Dorthia Cottrell, Windhand creates an engaging and almost hypnotizing sound that holds a perfect balance between heavy and melancholy. Since 2010, the band has steadily grown into a true underground sensation. It led to the band being signed by the renowned Relapse label. In 2013 they released the well-received album “Soma”, which made it to numerous year’s end shortlists of well-known magazines and websites. Its predecessors, “Grief’s Infernal Flower” from 2015 and “Eternal Return” from 2018″, solidified their reputation as one of the leading bands in the genre.
