Fans of grind core and similar styles have something to look forward to: on Friday 24 October, Wormrot from Singapore is going to perform in Waalhalla! French band Gummo is also present. And that’s not all: we are going to turn this into a mini-fest, so more names are on the way. Destruction guaranteed, so be there!
Wormrot from Singapore is known for their hyper intense live performances and uncompromising sound. Since the band was founded in 2007, Wormrot made a name for themselves internationally with their innovative and ruthless grind core. Albums like “Dirge” and “Hiss”, which has riffs at lightning speed, heavy drums and fiery vocals, are classics within the genre. The bands made a mark through a unique mix of traditional grind core and modern influences. They are praised for their energy and technical precision in both their studio recordings and on live stages all around the world.
French trio Gummo has been taking down venues since 2018 with their sleazy, hardcore-infused grind core. Devastatingly great.
