Bad Nerves is a terrific five-piece garage rock & roll band from East London. They make music that uses elements from the Strokes, Ramones and the Clash – yet even faster, nastier and with more adrenalin.
Their songs are tiny pockets of energy and cause quite a ruckus. Last year they released their self-titled debut album, which is an excellent treat for fans of English (garage)punk. They combine elements from a number of different genres and styles to create a sound that’s truly their own. This is what makes their music so refreshing, while at the same time it tricks you into thinking it’s the seventies all over again. Familiar and timeless, yet brand new. They have already proven themselves at Eurosonic and Lowlands; now it’s time for Doornroosje.
