Canadian electronic producer Dan Snaith, better known as Caribou, is a composer of songs rich in color. Characterized by his sound of warm, playful electronics and washed-out samples of live instruments. Originally using the name of ‘Manitoba’, he released his first album under the Caribou moniker in 2005: “The Milk of Human Kindness”. He is well known for overhauling his core sound with every subsequent release. He combines electronic psychedelia, krautrock rhythms and breakbeat drums, creating a whirling musical panorama.
In 2014 Caribou released “Our Love”, which was a serious contender for Album of the Year lists of publications like The Guardian, Mixmag, Loud & Quiet and NME. Now, five years later, Caribou returns with his seventh studio album “Suddenly”, a warm, untamable and constantly surprising album about family and the changes we undergo when relationships evolve.
Caribou is partnering up with PLUS1.org so that €1 from every ticket sold on their upcoming tour will go to support ClientEarth and their work to protect the planet and the people who live on it. http://www.clientearth.org
