These five London trailblazers are taking the hardcore and punk scene in their home country by storm. With seething garage punk, pub rock and an energetic live show they turn the club circuit on its head. Sweaty mosh pits guaranteed!
The comparison with Motörhead is an easy one to make, partly due to front man Charlie Manning Walker. His aggressive vocals and catchy refrains are a perfect fit of the band’s core sound, which is not that far away from, say, Cockney Rejects. But the band also has ‘soul’: next to punk they have plenty of melodies, surf elements, kick-ass rock & roll and sing-a-long choruses.
Debut album “Speed Kills” came out in 2020 and “The Mutt’s Nuts” followed last year. Highly recommended to fans of The Chats, IDLES, Amyl and the Sniffers and the aforementioned acts.
