Swedish band Greenleaf takes you back to the seventies with swampy blues boogie riffs, a whiff of psychedelia and some stoner influences.
The band, fronted by guitarist Tommi Holappa (Dozer), released a terrific album (“Rise Above The Meadow”) recently, which was the successor to an equally strong “Trails & Passes“. With this, the band proves that they’re here to stay and a force to be reckoned with their gritty sound, one that swings and rocks in all the right places. Up-tempo songs are interspersed with more intimate and expansive material, while keeping a modern retro vibe throughout. Greenleaf follows in the same tradition as bands like Graveyard, Truckfighters and Kadavar. Fans of the bands: take notice!
The Atomic Bitchwax has been serving fans of solid and catchy stoner rock since 1992. The American band comes from the same musical nick of the woods as Karma to Burn, Kyuss, Orange Goblin and Monster Magnet. The combination of psychedelic sixties and seventies riff rock has been a hit with fans of the genre for decades. They have released five albums so far through the renowned Teepee Records label, while they are currently working on their sixth album. Live on stage we expect nothing less than one big, juicy groove!
