Somewhere in between industrial rock, dark techno and night-time ecstasy you can find Brass Rave Unit, the power trio of the Amsterdam underground. At the strangest times, ones where you wouldn’t expect any brass instruments, this trio brings focus, energy and dedication to the night.
After a sold-out Tolhuistuin, a steamy Paradiso, shows at Glastonbury, Berlin night clubs and New York metro stations, Brass Rave Unit has had 10 years of experience in entertaining and overwhelming audiences. You may remember its members from some of the other bands with which they were successful, Jungle by Night and Gallowstreet. They also share a studio with them.
In the spring of 2026, their third album will come out. While predecessor “It Burns the Midnight Oil” dealt with the nightly burning of energy, with this new one the band is going to explore the water with its liminal nature. This is a transformative phase, especially given the times in which we live, and which should lead into the Age of Aquarius. That’s all the band is willing to say about it now; just be there to experience it in full.
