Keith Caputo is well-known as the charismatic front man of Life of Agony, with which he made a permanent mark on the alternative metal scene in the nineties. In his solo career, Caputo continues the intensity of his previous band, but he also finds room for a more introspective, fragile side. This tour is all about revisiting debut album “Died Laughing”.
Solo, Caputo explores themes like love, loneliness and identity in gloomy songs that vary from alternative rock to sober ballads. With his deep, raw voice and personal, emotional lyrics, every song sounds like a direct reflection of his personal journey. The album “Died Laughing” was the first and most striking expression of this.
Live shows in this setting are intense and direct, often in a smaller set-up with minimal use of instrumentation. These shows are pure from the heart, driven by the calling to really connect with the audience emotionally. Through these, he shows he is much, much more than just the front man of Life of Agony. During this first tour in 10 years, he is supported by Life of Agony bassist Joey Z.
