After an impressive debut with “Out of Place” and sold-out release shows in iconic venues like Ancienne Belgique (Brussels) and De Helling (Utrecht), Kids With Buns are back with their long-awaited second album,
Belgian indie pop duo (Amber Piddington and Marie van Uytvanck) started writing songs after both experienced the end of a relationship. They travelled to Philadelphia to collaborate with Jacob Blizard (former producer and guitarist of Lucy Dacus, also known from boygenius). They grew even closer while there and they started writing songs as a means to keep each other and themselves together. Inspired by a chaotic period full of late nights, but also heartbreak, the result was not just their most mature and deepest work to date, but also their biggest success and most international-sounding.
With shows on main stages of Belgian festivals, including Pukkelpop, and shows in Germany, Luxemburg, Romania, France and The Netherlands, Kids With Buns have proven their powerful live reputation several times over. Their concerts are honest renditions of their fragile songs and, at the same time, experiences that can captivate every audience.
