Emma Nissen is an American singer, songwriter and “Christian Jazz” artist that, after a vocal chords injury, completed a religious mission in Sweden. She then released her debut album “Love Like You” in August 2024, which stormed the iTunes Christian Music Charts and reached number 1 within 24 hours, and sold out on Amazon. Emma Nissen announced a performance in Amsterdam on 25 July, which sold out within two days. That is why she added an extra date, this time in Nijmegen. This is going to be an intimate, acoustic concert with Emma and a piano. She will play songs from her debut “Love Like You”, as well as some new songs set to be released in 2026 and a number of jazz classics.

Emma Nissen is a 25-year-old jazz pop phenomenon who found fame when she went viral when scatting on her song “Breate” in 2023. Ever since then her videos, thanks to her timeless voice and engaging personality, have had over 200 million views. Similarly, her Instagram followers went from less than 10,000 to over 700,000 in no-time. This massive increase led to Emma being noticed by artists like SZA, Meghan Trainor, Queen Latifah and Adam Blackstone (Emmy and Grammy winner who collaborated with Rihanna, Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake). Blackstone invited Emma to perform with his world-class band in the renowned New York jazz club The Blue Note. This also led to Blackstone producing her most recent single and the title song of her album “Love Like You”. The album is partly produced by Grammy-, Dove- and Billboard Awards winner Seth Mosley, Grammy-nominated Nate Pyfer and renowned producer Stephen Nelson. In 2025, Emma went out on a European tour, playing some of its largest cities and selling out shows in both the UK and Amsterdam. She then came back to the US for more tour dates. Early 2026, she returned to the studio to record her new album. Tonight, we welcome her for a performance at Stevenskerk Live!
