Angine de Poitrine
The asymmetric and dissonant music of Angine de Poitrine is exciting and makes people dance. The band creates swirling maelstroms of hypnotic imagery and sound through tight, pulsating drums and intricate microtonal guitar parts on double-neck guitars.
Since their debut release “Vol. 1” in 2024, Angine de Poitrine has been getting more and more attention from audience and critics alike. The Quebec duo Klek and Khn de Poitrine are not just disciples of the rock gods of planet Earth, but also self-proclaimed space and time travellers. They are equally intrigued by hot dogs, pyramids and rock music in all of its excesses.
After multiple break-through shows at prestigious festivals in December, a KEXP session with the band in early 2026 went viral. All at once, the entire world got to know about this alien phenomenon. On their very first European tour, they land in Nijmegen for a show in Doornroosje.
