One of the loudest bands in North America is coming back to Nijmegen. A Place to Bury Strangers – APTBS for family and friends – is an extremely impressive live band.
By using synths, bass and guitar, APTBS manage to transform the craziness of their albums into an almost dystopian trip live on stage. The result is a flammable and explosive performance. The trio excels in creating timeless melodies drenched in dark energy. Sixties hooks are mixed with kraut rock, shoegaze and dream pop.
Support act MДQUIИД, aka Maquina, has been around since 2021. In a classic set-up of guitar, bass and drums, they produce an unconventional mix of industrial and techno, while managing to bridge the gap to punk and psychedelia as well.
