Pulse is a new series of concerts at the cutting edge of classical and pop, presented by Doornroosje and De Vereeniging. Tonight, Pulse presents a concert of Annelie in the Kleine Zaal of The Vereeniging.
Annelie has already earned her stripes as keyboard player and singer for well-known Dutch artists like Eefje de Visser and Maaike Oubouter. Solo, she is also a force to be reckoned with however. Within her dreamy, instrumental music, piano is always at the centre. Her latest album is more diverse and features experimentation with electronic elements. Most of her music was written outside however, not behind a piano but within her mind. Her taste is influenced by pop music, often characterized by a melancholy and cinematic mood.
