Arkayla hails from Manchester and creates a swirling mix of harmonious indie rock, layered guitar sounds, and catchy lyrics. Since their formation, they have built a solid reputation and recently broke through in their home country with a series of powerful songs.
They have previously played their own headlining live shows and were taken under their wing this year by their friends from the band Blossoms. Arkayla is therefore highly recommended for fans of Blossoms, The Sherlocks, and The Lathums. According to Guy Garvey (BBC Radio 6), the band carries the torch for everything good about Manchester’s rock scene.
