Beach Weather
The American band Beach Weather specializes in summery and melancholy indie pop and rock. The band will come to Doornroosje for the first time in October!
The band takes you on a journey through warm, analoguea imagery, to a long-forgotten summer in which sultry guitars and raw vocals can be heard as its soundtrack. The American trio combines pure pop refrains with a kind of nonchalant, lo-fi production that is reminiscent of The Neighbourhood. A good description of their sound can be found in the refrain of hit single ‘Sex, Drugs, Etc,’, with singer and guitarist Nick Santino singing about “floating on a low key viiiiiiiibe”. This song went viral and became a mega-hit on TikTok. At the end 2024, their latest album “Melt” came out that features nineties-inspired indie rock. This is recommended to fans of The Neighbourhood, The Wombats, Cage the Elephant and The Academic.
