Bluefinger 2 clubtour
Bertolf is back with his bluegrass album “Bluefinger Vol. 2”! Unlike volume 1, “Bluefinger Vol. 2” consists entirely of brand-new and self-penned material. The record is played with incredible instrumental virtuosity, an infectious joy and beautiful harmonies. Of course, the live show will also feature the best of the original “Bluefinger”, as well as a surprising cover here and there in a bluegrass arrangement.
Bertolf grew up on a diet of bluegrass and flew to Nashville in 2022 to finally make his dream come true. He recorded the album “Bluefinger” there, a bluegrass album that features some of his biggest personal heroes from the scene: Jerry Douglas and Stuart Duncan. Following the release of it, he toured extensively in Dutch theatres, pop venues and festivals, backed by a band with the best musicians of our domestic bluegrass scene.
The band became such a tight, well-oiled machine that Bertolf decided to record “Bluefinger Vol. 2”, only this time using his terrific Dutch band. Renowned engineer and mixer Dave Sinko flew in to record and mix the album.
