DITZ explores noise rock in the style of The Jesus Lizard and Shellac, but also throws elements from noise punk (Gilla Band, Model/Actriz) and the more unpredictable post-punk of The Fall into the mix. Since their debut “The Great Regression” came out, the band has been touring a lot, working on their live reputation. IDLES brought them along on tour last year which allowed them to cut their teeth on some of the largest stages all over the world.
Earlier this year, their latest album “Never Exhale” came out. They recorded it in the Holy Mountain Studio in London. The record was mixed by Seth Manchester (Model/Actriz, Lingua Ignota, Big Brave). Their new album, that deals with political themes like hatred and body issues, also introduces new sounds from an influence like Mogwai.
