For her breakthrough album “Drive & Cry”, Nashville-based singer-songwriter Emily Nenni came with a traditional country sound and her beautiful voice. In May, her new album “Movin’ Shoes” will be released.
Emily’s sound is deeply rooted in classic honky tonk, but is also enriched by influences from country, soul and rock ‘n’ roll. She made quite a splash with her debut “Hell of a Woman”, as well as with her second album “On the Ranch”. It was “Drive & Cry” that firmly put her on the radar of a wider audience, however.
On May 1, her new album “Movin’ Shoes” will be released. It is preceded by the single ‘Livin’ in Shame’. We are very happy to welcome her and her band to Merleyn during her short European tour.
