Visions of the Past Tour
First Aid Kit consists of Swedish sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg and they are a staple at festivals and in the larger pop venues. Their music is sober, subdued and moving and demonstrates that you don’t need that much to make terrific music. With their Visions of the Past Tour, they are coming to De Vereeniging for their only show in The Netherlands.
First Aid Kit started off long ago with covers of pop songs from the likes of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, singers that influenced their younger days. Soon thereafter, they discovered artists like Leonard Cohen and Bright Eyes, which led to the sisters writing their own tender songs. This resulted in a beautiful body of work with albums like “The Big Black and the Blue”, “The Lion’s Roar”, “Stay Gold” and “Ruins”.
