Musical wunderkind Ty Segall returns to Nijmegen with his three-headed rock monster Fuzz. This trio fires off one killer riff after another in record time. The explosive cocktail of hard rock, heavy metal, acid rock and garage are exactly what the doctor ordered to forget about the previous lack of live shows due to Covid.
Next to Segall, Fuzz consists of school friend Charles Moothart (guitar, vocals) and Chad Ubovich (bass, vocals). Their debut “Fuzz” came out in 2013, with their most recent album ‘III’ coming out through the In The Red label in 2020. Their latest record was produced by sonic sound professor and Shellac chief Steve Albini, who in his production focuses mostly on the live qualities of Fuzz. So no studio trickery but pure, raw, and unpolished, resulting in an in-your-face overall sound.
