What once started off as a collaboration in the studio of Seth Applebaum in New York, has turned into a catchy and powerful live band, Ghost Funk Orchestra. With their unique mix of genres fed by influences from soul, psychedelic rock, jazz, salsa and funk, they invite their audience to pull out their best dance moves.
Ghost Funk Orchestra is the project of musician, multi-instrumentalist and composer Seth Applebaum. Early 2024, Ghost Funk Orchestra released “A Trip to the Moon”, a new record via Colemine Records, which is the label that also houses Black Pumas, Durand Jones & The Indications and Aaron Frazer. The band has shared the stage with Os Mutantes, Grace Potter, La Luz and Monophonics and have played tons of great festival shows in North-America.
Their latest record finally brings them to Europe. Experiment is key; unpredictability attracts people from all over the globe. Brace yourself for a steamy set full of exciting grooves and the typical sound of Ghost Funk Orchestra.
