The young members of Girl Scout met one another during their studies. The quartet studied Jazz at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and discovered a shared love for acts like Phoebe Bridgers, Elliott Smith and The Beatles. They started making music together after that.
Girl Scout quickly made a name for themselves in their home country of Sweden, but they also supported acts like Holly Humberstone, and played festivals like Eurosonic and others across Europe. Their music is innovative, surprising and diverse. Their unique mix of indie rock and power pop are very catchy. Highly recommended to fans of acts like The Breeders, Snail Mail, Blondshell. Pip Blom, Sunflower Bean and Personal Trainer.
