Michael Shuman (also known as Mikey Shoes) is best known as the bassist of Queens of the Stone Age. He dabbles with other projects as well however, including GLU. During the Pandemic, he released a number of singles under the GLU name, driven by an urge to create guitar songs. For the first time, he is going out on tour as a solo act, which includes a show in Merleyn!
Shortly after he got his university degree, he was asked to join QOTSA as bass player in 2007. On the album “Like Clockwork” he doesn’t just play bass, but you can also hear him on vocals, percussion, guitar and mellotron. This multi-talent offers quality of the highest order. He will be joined on stage by a special guest in Merleyn. You do not want to miss out on this one!
