Antwerp band Gnome fires off riff after riff on their latest album “Vestiges of Verumex Visidrome”. The trio tears, blasts and rumbles through a landscape of stoner, prog rock and heavy metal.
Gnome broke through with their second album “King”. Both the amusing videos and the streams of their recordings have accumulated millions of plays, which is quite an accomplishment for a band in this genre. And yet, it is not all that remarkable, as the trio are extremely good at writing adventurous riffs and catchy melodies. With a healthy dose of humor and more vocals and metal riffs than on previous albums, plus with their never-ending quest for the Golden Riff in mind, these hat-clad gnomes are ready to take on the next string of festivals and venues, which includes Merleyn.
Ruff Majik hails from South Africa. The trio offers a multitude of styles in a completely unique manner, with garage rock, fuzz, psych and even a bit of doom metal in the mix. This is the perfect warm-up act for Gnome.
