Together, Harry Valentino (guitar/vocals), Oliver Sentance (bass), and Calvin Davidson (drums/vocals) are the band High Fade. This Edinburgh trio make a razor-sharp mix of funk, classic rock, disco and soul. The members of High Fade look like they have escaped from a seventies action movie set; their tight, groovy and catchy music fits in perfectly with their looks.
The power trio High Fade find inspiration in not just the classic rock of Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin, but also in old school Motown, John Legend, Barry White and 80’s rock bands like Kiss and Mötley Crüe.
Throw all of this in a blender and you’ll end up with High Fade. A few years ago, the band started making a name for themselves on social media, sharing short clips of their jam sessions and energetic street performances. This brought them to the attention of some very famous artists in no-time: the three musicians were quickly embraced by the likes of Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes and Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine.
Their new album is coming out in the spring of 2026. After a sold-out show in Merleyn in 2025, they are coming back to Doornroosje now.
