I Love You Honey Bunny is an indie pop and indie rock band from Prague. Some will love their live sound and bold podium presence, others will particularly appreciate their song writing skills, which often deal with contemporary social and political matters.
Their second album, “We Just Had a Wonderful Time”, came out in April 2023. The album was composed in Prague and Amsterdam and produced by Koen van der Wardt (Klangstof) and Steven Graham Ansell (Blood Red Shoes). Their third album is almost ready for release as well and is preceded by new single ‘Under the Weather’.
In this song, I Love You Honey Bunny is dealing with negative feelings, ultimately embracing the pain. “I’m under the weather, never been better”, as Sebastian Jacques is signing. He asks everyone to follow his advice of slowing down when things get rough: “Where could we all be if you joined me?”
The Vices, a befriended band from Groningen, brought them along on tour before. I Love You Honey Bunny also excelled at ESNS in 2024, not just because of their wonderful band name, but also because of their passionate live performance.
