Explosive female metal power on this Saturday in Doornroosje: Infected Rain is coming back with their most intense and unpredictable tour to date: The Mutation Phase Tour. Butcher Babies and Black Spikes are coming along as special guests.
The Moldavian band Infected Rain, led by charismatic and versatile vocalist Elena Cataraga, also known as Lena Scissorhands, developed a unique style by combining female screams, loud riffs and samples. Together with guitarist Vadim ‘Vidick’ Ojog, drummer Eugene Voluta and the recently added bassist Alice Lane, the band manage to create a recognizable and intense sound. Progressive, electronic and nu-metal influences are key to their sound. Infected Rain is known for their explosive live energy and emotional depth. They find themselves in a strange time of transition, in between album releases and forms. This tour seeks to show Infected Rain in the middle of this mutation, offering fans a raw, unfiltered experience that won’t be repeated in the future. The American band is known for their aggressive mix of heavy metal, thrash and punk, which they channel through an intense stage performance full of energy and theatrical horror influences.
