Jake Xerxes Fussell
Jake Xerxes Fussell is one of the most prominent interpreters of traditional (and not so traditional) folk songs of his generation. Fussell isn’t just a skilled musician but also a gifted storyteller.
He uses a no-nonsense approach in his bluesy guitar-playing and puts influences from the American South in a new context. The swinging, rhythmic groove of his excellent, almost effortless guitar-playing gives a new meaning to familiar songs and subjects.
