Step into the world of Laibach, the Slovenian avant-garde collective that have been successfully touring the world for almost half a century. The band was formed in former Yugoslavia and ever since then, they have been exploring concepts like power and ideology through their music.
Laibach makes a dark, poetic and bombastic mix of avant-garde, industrial, electronic, metal and neo-classical music. With their unique sound, they have been a huge inspiration for bands like Rammstein and Nine Inch Nails.
Using socialist, Marxist symbolism, they often push the boundaries. The band has been accused of both Left-extremism and Right-extremism in the past in terms of ideas and ideals, although the band prefers to keep their political preferences ambiguous. “Laibach does not function as an answer but a question.”
During the Laibach 2026 Tour, the band will come to Nijmegen for an exclusive performance on Dutch soil.
