Matt Simons
New York based singer-songwriter Matt Simons, known from hits like ‘With You’ and ‘Catch & Release’, is coming back to the Netherlands. With prior performances, he won the hearts of the Dutch crowd. His music and voice provide something special to his self-penned songs.
Matt was born on 20 February 1987 in Brooklyn. He has been playing music from a young age and by the time he turned 21, he decided to take his passion in a professional direction. Matt studies at the conservatory, where he is trained as a jazz saxophonist. Eventually, he ends up combining playing his own music with writing songs for other artists.
With the single ‘With You’, he finally had his big break in 2013. Since then, he has played big festivals like Pinkpop and gone out on a number of sold-out tours in pop venues and theatres. He has gathered a loyal fanbase and will come to Nijmegen this year for a performance in De Vereeniging.
