Live music on the beloved Stadseiland at Veur-Live! Once again this year, Stadseiland Stek and Doornroosje are joining forces during the Vierdaagsefeesten, allowing you to enjoy free live music at a lovely spot by the water from Saturday, July 18 to Friday, July 24.
MEROL at Veur-Live
The Dutch artist MEROL launched herself into pop music like a rocket in 2028 with the hit single ‘Lekker met de meiden’. With her bold, headstrong, and direct Dutch-language electro-pop, she flawlessly manages to expose the zeitgeist.
Now in 2026, MEROL is back: fiery, vulnerable, and rougher than ever. With a new record in hand titled “Leve de Feeks”, she embarks on a new musical path, creating wild electro-punk with rock and techno influences. On her new album, she breathes new life into the term “feeks” (“shrew”) and frees herself from all shame she feels about her body, her sex, and her desire to have children.
