Mojo and the Kitchen Brothers is a six-piece band of eclectic music freaks from Belgium that ooze with psychedelic rock energy in all its facets.
The heavy prog rock may look like a throwback to legendary bands from yester-year, but don’t be mistaken: these Belgians are much more than just a nostalgia trip. Modern equivalents like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Tropical Fuck Storm and SLIFT have a similar urgency to them. Deeply rooted among their psychedelic peers, they take you on a trip between past and present. Feel free to take some mind-altering drugs and let yourself be carried away on the psychedelic roller-coaster of Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers.
Another fun fact: the band releases their records through Nijmegen-based label Lay Bare Recordings. After their terrific show at Sonic Whip 2024, it was high time to bring this band back to Nijmegen for a show in Merleyn.
