Festival Jazz International Nijmegen is back once again. on 25 and 26 October, a slow-paced festival with high quality jazz concerts of national and international artists will be held that also offers a stage to talent from Nijmegen. Tonight, we are proud to present a double-bill that puts jazz, soul, hip hop, electronics and experimentation front and centre.
Moses Yoofee is the latest project of the renowned pianist and producer Moses Yoofee, who is known for his phenomenal talent in jazz and production. The trio got together after meeting at the Jazz Institute in Berlin and produces an explosive sound by combining jazz, hip hop, R&B and soul. The Moses Yoofee Trio has turned into one of the most promising young acts within the contemporary jazz scene. With their live studio recordings and energetic performances, they have caught the attention of renowned artists and producers worldwide. Expect a dynamic and boundary-crossing night that embodies the future of jazz.

Boing! is the first collaboration between like-minded artists Leafcutter John – “one of the most innovative electronic artists of the UK” (Time Out London) – and Bex Burch – “imaginative” (The Wire), a composer, percussionist and xylophone player. The album celebrates the creative collaboration between the two musicians and documents their exploration of improvisation and electronic sounds. Expect an engaging experience that will entertain both visually and sonically.
