Nona van der Wansem, better known as Nona, has one of the most intriguing voices in the Dutch music scene. With a raw and soulful sound, that holds the middle between soul, blues, rock and pop, she manages to touch a lot of people, both through her studio material and live on stage.
Her music is honest, powerful and personal. The themes ooze with loss, love, resilience and self-acceptance. After her breakthrough with single ‘It’s Alright’ (2018) and the widely praised debut album “Nona” (2019), she played shows at big festivals like Pinkpop, North Sea Jazz and Down the Rabbit Hole.
After a sabbatical and a period of reinvention, she is finally back now: stronger than ever, with a brand-new album called “Letters to My Habits”. The album is rawer, more honest and more intimate than her previous works.
