Orgel Vreten is back from their holiday! The band, which consists of Thijs Schrijnemakers (organ), Darius Timmer (organ), Jan Teertstra (bass), Henri van den Berg (drums), and Arno Bakker (sousaphone), is going to release a new EP in October. They are heading out on their first tour in a while and Doornroosje is one of the venues they will play!
With a unique combination of two ancient Hammond organs and a rhythm section, keyboard virtuoso Thijs Schrijnemakers and Darius Timmer are going to introduce you to the magical sounds and possibilities of their organs. With the successful album “Komrad” (2014), Orgel Vreten played at tons of festivals and pop venues.
Orgel Vreten demonstrates that organ music can definitely be sexy: interplay, rhythmic fights and a whole lot of swing! During the organ fights, your eyes are treated to a visual feast.
Orgel Vreten is going to be joined by surprising guest musicians for each of their performances. These guests will be announced later.
