Peter Alexander Jobson is known as the bassist and keyboard player of I Am Kloot. Solo, he brings a unique mix of sounds, taking elements of intimate country psychedelia and atmospheric cocktail jazz. His deep voice takes you to a world full of raw emotion and refined musical flair.
“Burn the Ration Books of Love” is the impressive debut album of Jobson that brings his wide array of influences to life. Sources of inspiration include Leonard Cohen, Serge Gainsbourg, Tom Waits and Scott Walker, blues and country legends like Robert Johnson and Hank Williams, and Northern entertainers of yester-year like Les Dawson and Jake Thackray.
