Tonight, the band PORTRAY will present their new EP in Merleyn! These local heroes have played at the Valkhof Festival before and were participants of band competition De Roos van Nijmegen. Support act tonight will be Peanut Butter Goldfish.
PORTRAY creates powerful songs with crystal-clear melodies and a catchy energy from the get-go. Inspired by garage, psychedelic rock and punk, combined with melancholy moods (think of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Turnstile and Rage Against the Machine). Their music reflects the personal struggle with identity and gives a voice to those trying to find a way in modern society.
