Psychlona from Bradford, England is a four-piece band that has been upending the landscape of stoner and desert rock since 2016 with their heavy, psychedelic sound.
Inspired by icons like Kyuss, Monster Magnet and Hawkwind, Psychlona mixes groovy space rock, mellow desert vibes and steamy fuzz riffs into an irresistible trip – and always with their own Yorkshire signature. Their albums, including the recently released “Warped Vision”, prove that the band is constantly evolving without trading in any of their intensity; from bulldozer riffs to galloping drums, from melodious hooks to spacey intermezzos. Whether they go for raw stoner anthems or extended psychedelic jams, Psychlona is great at both of them. Their live performance at Sonic Whip 2023 was one of the early highlights. The band is coming back to Nijmegen for an encore.
