Şatellites is an Israeli-Turkish psychedelic band from Tel Aviv that revives the vibrant atmosphere of 1970s Istanbul. Their music mixes traditional Turkish elements, like the bağlama and saz, with groovy funk, disco and modern psych rock.
The result is a warm, dancefloor-friendly sound that’s both nostalgic and refreshing – as if you’re walking through dusty Anatolian streets with a disco ball floating over your head. Since their debut “Big Baglama” (2020) and the album “Aylar”, Şatellites have managed to make a mark internationally with their passionate live shows and their unique bridge between East and West.
