Helaas bereikte ons vanmiddag het bericht dat SNAYX wegens pech onderweg, niet op tijd in Nijmegen kan zijn. Het optreden van vandaag is geannuleerd en we zijn met de band op zoek naar een nieuwe datum. Kaartkopers hebben een e-mail ontvangen.

British alt rock trio SNAYX is currently touring as support for Don Broco, but they are going to use a free date to play a headline show in Merleyn. The band are known for their passionate live performances and bass-driven anthems in which punk, rock, electronics and experimental influences all blend into an explosive sound.

The trio consists of Ollie (bass/guitar), Elaine AKA “Lainey” (drums) and front man Charlie Herridge (guitar/vocals). Lyrics-wise, Charlie focuses on contemporary topics like war, power and inequality, as well as on the digital circus in which we all participate nowadays.

Their intense live performances are something you have to undergo, as the band has quite the live reputation in their home country for a good reason. SNAYX is highly recommended to fans of Sleaford Mods, Soft Play, Kid Kapichi, and Bob Vylan.
