The Big Idea creates an explosive mix of psychedelic rock, post-punk, indie rock and avantgarde, using lyrics drenched in black humour.
The Bordeaux-based band The Big Idea released their debut in October 2025. This new album was produced by New York-based Jeremy Snyder, who also worked on albums by bands like IDLES, DITZ and Lambrini Girls. Fans of the aforementioned bands should take note, but if you like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Pond then there’s much to love for you here, too. During their very first real European tour they will also play a show in Merleyn.
