The Great Machine is an explosive power trio, known for their energetic live shows and their diverse mix of stoner, punk and heavy rock.
The band consists of the brothers Aviran (bass, vocals) and Omer Haviv (guitar, vocals), together with drummer Michael Izaky. The sound of the band is dominated by heavy, fuzzy riffs, groovy bass lines and hypnotizing drums. During live shows, they often move into extended, psychedelic jams. Songs vary from explosive, short tracks to extended compositions with truck loads of improvisation and experimentation. The band in inspired by legends like Kyuss, MC5 and The Stooges. Just like these bands, The Great Machine, who hail from Tel Aviv (Israel), truly come alive on the stage.
