Uada + Winterfylleth

With their new album “Djinn”, the American band Uada has struck gold. It has been very well received by both the press and the public, featuring fantastic melodies and innovative song arrangements. While melodious black metal is still part of the core sound, the band incorporates other genres as well, including post punk, classic rock, doom and even old school heavy metal. This results in a more open, dynamic and direct overall sound. Uada broadens their horizons with this and manages to speak to a whole new audience in the process.

British band Winterfylleth is all about quality. Whether it’s about artwork, themes, lyrics or musicality, they try to find a path that’s uniquely their own. Their most recent album “The Reckoning Dawn” is once again terrific. The Manchester band combines ice cold epic black metal with traditional folk elements like no other band can.
