Ye Vagabonds
Brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn started off as street buskers. Together, they are the heart of Irish folk band Ye Vagabonds, which has turned into a powerful collective nowadays.
Their unique ensemble consists of layered acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, double-bass, Moog synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki, violin and the harmony of their diverse voices. They are described as a new wave within Irish folk and have won awards for Best Song, Best Album and Best Folk Group at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards. Their long-awaited studio album “All Tied Together” was recorded live for the most part in an old house in Galway under guidance of renowned producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker) and came out in January 2026.
