Bodega is an art rock band from Brooklyn New York that creates an exciting and dancefloor-friendly crossover of post-punk and krautrock. Their debut album “Endless Scroll” was recorded with the help of their friend Austin Brown (Parquet Courts) with the same ‘Tascam 388’ recording equipment that was used for Parquet Court’s debut album “Light Up Gold”.
The new Bodega album “Broken Equipment” is coming out soon. It was recorded right before and during the 2020 pandemic. They were inspired by the book club in which Nikki and Ben had passionate conversations with others about ideology and philosophy. The album was mixed by Bryce Goggin, who is also known for working with Pavement in the past.
