Brazilian duo DEAFKIDS brings its unique sound and aesthetic built over a 15-year career on the roads and stages of the world. Across their work, they have built a reputation for intense, boundary-pushing music that is as physical as it is atmospheric, channeling chaos, urgency, and ritualistic repetition into a singular sonic identity. Started as the side project of an underground black metal band called Deathcrush, DEFACEMENT have became one of the most promising acts in the realm of dissonant death/black metal, and certainly one that doesn’t fear to experiment. Their latest self-titled album stands as a statement of utter violence and despair against the endless inner struggle caused by the growing lack of meaning in this thing we call life. From chaotic blasting madness to melancholic slow passages and ambient interludes, DEFACEMENT’s atmospheric journey into the depths of the mind is going to leave a mark in the modern extreme metal scene, as well as an ugly scar on your soul.

DIMSCÛA quickly became a rising star after their debut EP ‘Dust Eater’. One of the most praised new statements in the UK heavy underground in the last few years. A brutal slab consisting of heavy, slow‑burn riffs and rich, atmospheric dynamics. Built on massive walls of sound, soaring crescendos and raw and heartfelt vocals. Their music blends low‑tuned, groove‑driven sludge with the emotional weight of post‑metal, creating a cathartic and immersive experience that deals with themes of grief, loss, and inner struggle.

Initially the brainchild of former Plebeian Grandstand’s bassist Olivier L., MOURIR is the full-band follow-up to his one-man project Vermine. Bolstered by the addition of members from BRUIT ≤, Toucan & Drawers, the Toulouse-based quatuor quickly evolved in France’s most well kept extreme metal monstrosity, one eviscerating studio effort after another. Equally influenced by early norwegian forefathers as well as the dissonant approach of their fellow countrymen, MOURIR’s take on black metal is a non-stop barrage of majestic guitar leads, pounding sludge grooves, and bone-chilling ghoulish howls to new states of sonic anguish. Their new album ‘Nous, Le Venin’ will be out on July 10th 2026 on Pelagic Records.

PATRISTIC from Rome, Italy merges relentless death metal aggression with atmospheric, ritualistic black metal elements. Rooted in themes of early Christian philosophy and the “patristic” era, their music explores the tension between pagan antiquity and the rise of Christian doctrine, delivered through dense, dissonant riffs, thunderous drums, and howling, incantatory vocals. Their debut full‑length ‘Catechesis’ showcase a dark, cinematic approach to extreme metal, where fast‑paced, vicious passages coexist with brooding, atmospheric passages. With ties to other prominent Italian extreme acts, Patristic stands as a compelling new voice in the European blackened death metal scene—combining theological depth, sonic brutality, and a distinctly ominous atmosphere.

ULTHA return to Soulcrusher to celebrate their new album ‘A Light So Dim’, a haunting and expansive statement that pushes their bleak, atmospheric sound even further into darkness. The album moves between crushing intensity and desolate melancholy, blending black metal’s sharp-edged fury with a more immersive, emotionally heavy sense of atmosphere. It feels vast, cold, and deeply human at once — the kind of record that pulls you in slowly and leaves a lasting mark. With ‘A Light So Dim’, ULTHA prove once again that extremity doesn’t have to be fast to be devastating; sometimes the heaviest impact comes from mood, tension, and sheer emotional weight.

With a sound that reflects an eclectic range of influences, WRONG MAN continue to forge their own path with every record they release, and every song they write. Their unique brand of soulful post hardcore is equal parts noisy and melodic, at times bluesy and moody. Having played in previous bands like Oathbreaker, Partisan & Rise And Fall, Wrong Man formed to do something different than previous projects. Following their rocking, very ‘90s inspired debut EP, ‘Who Are You?’, the Belgian band expanded their sound on follow up ‘Big Plans’, offering more sonic pushes and pulls, and an ability to play with contrasts, to create a very dynamic record. WRONG MAN is currently working on their debut full length, which promises to be their best and most diverse output yet.

Next to our regular array of beverages there is a specialty craft beer bar on the second floor in the foyer next to the merchandise. Fresh hot meals will be served from 5.30PM in the foyer of the purple room. It is not allowed to bring your own food into the venue.
There is no minimum age for the Soulcrusher festival. If you’re under 14 years old, you must be accompanied by someone over 18.
